The Heart Behind Elea
Not too long ago, I was in your shoes. In 2022, my husband and I met—of all places—on LinkedIn. What began as a connection request unfolded into something slow and steady, rich in meaning, faith, and story. When it came time to plan our wedding, I knew I wanted every moment to reflect the depth of what we were stepping into—not just a party, but a promise.
We shaped the day with great care. From the ceremony to the candlelight, every element carried meaning. We chose Scripture that spoke to covenant. We designed the flow of the event to draw our guests into welcome and joy. And, in honor of how we met, we included a playful résumé-themed Mad Lib at cocktail hour—a lighthearted reminder that even unlikely beginnings can become beautiful callings.
That wedding wasn’t just the beginning of our marriage.
It was also the beginning of Elea.
I founded Elea out of a desire to offer couples what I most longed for myself: a peaceful, present, and purpose-filled experience. One rooted in intentionality, shaped by hospitality, and told through the language of sacred story. Weddings, after all, are not just events to manage—they are acts of welcome. Invitations into covenant. The beginning of a home.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of planning and stewarding weddings for others—guiding couples through design, flow, and execution with calm, clarity, and care. Whether I’m sourcing florals, managing timelines, or simply holding space for your hopes, I carry your story like a sacred trust.

My name is Haneen—a name that, in Arabic, means deep affection, tender longing, and a kind of soulful nostalgia. That meaning has always lived close to my heart. I feel things deeply. I remember moments long after they’ve passed. I care about beauty—not the flashy kind, but the kind that stays with you, like the soft light at the end of a gathering or the warmth of a word spoken at just the right time.
This longing—to cherish, to create, to serve—is what led me to weddings.
And it’s also what led me to the name Elea.
Elea (ἐλεός) is an ancient Greek word meaning mercy or compassion. It also echoes the Greek word for olive tree, a symbol of peace, promise, and enduring love across both classical and biblical traditions. Together, Haneen and Elea tell a quiet story:
